Lazy Sundays

It seems strange that we are attending anual events for the second time round. Still free on ChCh council, not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The weather is still real good it mean't to be 30 degree tomorrow.

Not a bad place for a ride!

One of the rounds of the National MTB championships were held in Christchurch, at a place called Living Spring in the Port Hills. I haven't riden here but after seeing the riders fly down the course I think it will be next on this list of rides to do. By the way it would be a pretty stunning place to ride!

Scott, Shackleton & Antarctic Photogrphy

It was a pretty cultured weekend! On top of the Shakespeare we visited an exhibition of photography from Scott's and Shackleton's Antarctic adventures. Photo's were pretty amazing, especially as they were over 100 years old. The story of Shackleton's voyage to save his crew is crazy to think about, I don't know if I could live of seals for months on end! I think that I need to go and do something a little more physical!

Taming of the Shrew

Friday night culture in a open air theater! Didn't know what to expect as I don't think Shakespeare is really my bag, but it was well done, few laughs in there and managed to hold my attention for the two and half hours it lasted, so it must have been good!
